Hi from Holland

*Up-dates and info on what we have been up to*

Ellison and I have been staying with my parents now for almost 2 weeks. It all started like this... Josh had to work 3 night shift in a row and I was not ready to be home alone all night with a 3 1/2 week old. So we came to Nana and Papa's. They were very excited to come have us stay. Then Josh came to my parents house on Saturday afternoon after he woke up. Yeah we missed Daddy! We had a nice night at there house just the 3 of us. Nana and Papa had dinner plans with friends.

Then the next day Sunday Josh left for Texas for a week, for work. We missed him a lot. We called lots and sent a ton of pictures to him. We picked him up from the airport on Friday night. He learned a lot but was very ready to come home to his girls. Yeah Daddy is home (Ellison says).

Josh had an ear ache on and off the whole time he was in Texas. After we had dinner Friday night he started to feel even worse. He was congested and had lots of sinus pain and a sore throat. We did not want Ellison to get sick so we sent Josh home to our house in Grand Haven, and Ellison and I stayed in Holland. Monday Josh went to the Doctor, he is not on antibiotics, so we hope he feels better soon!

Today I took Ellison to the pediatrician, for her on going congestion in her nose. Anyone who has seen her knows what I am talking about (the goose). She has had this since birth. We were told in the beginning it was because she was breech and it would go away soon. After a few weeks of trying everything the Doctor could think of nothing has seemed to work. She keeps getting worse not better. Today Dr. D said we needed to get into the ENT (ear nose and throat) specialist ASAP.She has some kind of a airway obstruction. We have an appointment tomorrow morning with the ENT. We are hoping to find out why she has this. Our poor little girl is having problems with sleeping and eating and breathing.

Please pray for our little Ellison.

I would love to post some pictures but I don't have my cable for our camera. Once I get it I will have lots of cute pictures to share.

We are all doing great! I am trying to learn my new role as a Mom and Josh as a Dad. ESPN is trying to learn that he is a big brother and does not get all the attention any more.
Josh has been back to work now for a few weeks,and Ellison and I have been doing well at home on our own.
We have been blessed with many visitors, meals, cards and gifts. We truly feel loved by our friends and family.

On another side note I need to pick a winner for the give a away. I am having a hard time saying who won. Could someone please help me???

I am going to do my best to up-date once a week with what is new in our life with Ellison.

WOW! I can't believe it has taken me this long to post a blog up-date. (SORRY)
