Vacation up North!

My parents have been renting the same cottage for the last 19 years. On Sunday evening Josh,ESPN,Petunia and I headed up to Silver Lake for a week of relaxing and spending time together. My Aunt Barb was up for the whole week as well as my two little cousins Caleb and Josie. My cousin Erin (their Mom) came up for a few days as well. We all had a great time together.

4 WEEKS TO GO!!!! (or less)

I went to see Dr. G. on Wednesday, everything went great. Petunia is measuring right on track. She is about 5 1/2 pounds and about 18 inches long. I will go back to the Doctor again in 2 weeks when we get back from our trip up north.

I am measuring about a week ahead right now.

Josh and I are getting more and more excited to meet her :)


Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 36 Weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 5 lbs pounds gained ;)

Maternity Clothes: I am wearing my maternity jeans and loving them. They are so comfy! Plus some cute maternity dress that I just love in this hot weather. Which I am wearing almost every day when I am not in my scrubs for work.

Best Moment this week: Hearing her heart beat!

Gender: It's A GIRL!

Movement: Yes it is so amazing. The punches, jabs, and kicks are getting a little bit stronger. I love feeling them and knowing that she is inside of me doing well.

Food Craving: Health candy bars!

What I miss: Sleeping on my belly and sleeping through the night! Those silly bathroom trips are not helping either.

What I am looking forward to: Vacation, we are going to Silver Lake for a whole week! I plan to float around and relax! We leave tomorrow when Josh get's home from work.

Belly Button: In

Symptoms: I am feeling great! It is just getting to be a little hard to do every day things. My ankles get very swollen after working my 12 1/2 hour shifts.

Baby Showers!

My friend Kim and I are due one month apart from each other.




This is Heather's daughter Ava Joy. She's very special to me and was a big help at the shower.


Over the past two weekends our growing family was truly blessed. I had two baby showers one last weekend and one this past.
The first was given by my best friend Heather.

We have been friends since middle school. She has two very cute kids and is pregnant with her 3rd, and is due 18 days before me. It has been so fun being pregnant together. This was my friends shower, it was so good to see everyone. Many of my college friends came all the way from Chicago, which I was so excited about! We played a really fun game and had a delicious lunch. Then my favorite cake! I got so many wonderful gifts, many hand made things that will be very specail.


My second shower was given by my three Aunts from my Mom's side of the family. All my cousins and Aunt's came. As well as my first college roommate and her mom. They came all the way from Chicago! My mother in-law and sister in-law came too!
We played some fun games and had a wonderful lunch and cake! I forgot to check my camera before I left and I did not charge the battery. So I did not get very many pictures from this shower oops. I hope to get some from my Mom! I got wonderful gifts, we got a lot of our bigger things that we will get a lot of use our of.


We had to place a paper plate on our head and draw a picture of baby Parker, with out looking.


Then I had to pick which one I liked best!

Prego Up-date!

Nesting!

We had a busy weekend! Josh and I had child birth class all day on Saturday from 9am-4pm. So we dropped ESPN off at Nana and Papa Stuttman's house so he would not have to be home all day alone. He got to go all over with Papa and run errands, which meant lots of car rides, his favorite!


After class Mom, Dad, Josh and I went to Ottawa Beach Inn for dinner. It was awesome, we got to sit right by the window and had a great view of the lake!

On Sunday afternoon Mom and Dad came and helped Josh and I do somethings around the house. Dad and Josh washed the outside of the house and all the windows.



They also trimmed some trees and Mom and Dad gave Josh and I a wonderful gift! A beautiful Hydrangea bush which they planned as well.



Then Mom and I did all the windows on the inside, and washed curtains. All those silly things that need to be done.
Dad and Josh also put up the vinyl words in the nursery. Then Josh and I put up the polka dots! The nursery is all most done. We just need to get curtains and put them up. As well as paint the closet doors. Then everything will be ready for Petunia to come!





Today I packed a lunch for us and Josh and I went to the beach it was a beautiful day.

Tonight I just made a double batch of Banana bread and chocolate chip cookies.




(Don't mind my gross pans they get used a lot)




I would have to say I am nesting! I am getting very excited for this little girl to come soon!!!!

The BIG 30!

Today is a special day for my Husband Joshua, today he turns 30!!!!
