Mother's Day!
This mother's day is very different from last year. This is my second Mother's day (kind of). Last was filled with loss and sadness, this year is full on hope and excitement.
I woke up this morning to a cute little present from my sweet baby girl. It was a cute little shirt that says I love MOM! I hope that she can wear it next year! I also got a sweet card. This is what it said.
Hi, Mommy!
Even though I haven't been born yet. I wanted to tell you that I can hardly wait to see you and play with you. But in the meantime, just know that I already love you and know you'll make a really great MOM!

I know that this day can be hard for many of you. Those of you that are waiting to someday become a mom I remember feeling that. I also know this day is hard for those of you who have loss your sweet angels.

ESPN and the BABY!
ESPN thought this was his new bed!
Many people have asked us what we are going to do about ESPN when the baby comes??? If you know us at all you know he has been our pride and joy and baby for the last 3 1/2 years almost 4 years. He is so special to us and we love him a lot. We are pretty sure he will be just fine with the baby. We know he will be jealous at first but we have high hopes they will become the best of friends.
There have been some changes for him in the past few months. The big one has been that he got kicked out of his room. We had a spare room that was his, and now it is the nursery.
He still goes in the nursery looks around and lays down on the floor. He loves the new carpet I think!
We plan to take blanket to the hospital with us, then rub it on her and then send it home to ESPN. This way he will get use to her smell, so when she comes home he will already know her smell. This is our hope!
Any one else have any suggestions? We are up for any kind of help. We want bringing her home to be good for both of them!

Week 25
It has been a while since I have done a pregnancy up date, so I thought since we were at the Doctor today that I will give everyone an update.
Everything went fine, she is growing big and strong. I am measuring 26 weeks, which is one ahead of where I am. Her heart beat was nice and strong at 154. She moved all over while Dr. G was trying to find her heart beat. Next appt I get to have the pleasuring of having my gestational diabetes test. You have to drink this orange Trutol stuff, then one hour later they test my blood sugar and it needs to be less than 140, if so I pass if not then I have to go for a 3 hours test. I have high hopes that everything will be ok and I won't have to have this happen.
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 25 Weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 3 pounds gained
Maternity Clothes: I am wearing my maternity jeans and loving them. They are so comfy! Plus some cute maternity dress.
Best Moment this week: Hearing her heart beat!
Gender: It's A GIRL!
Movement: Yes it is so amazing. The punches, jabs, and kicks are getting a little bit stronger. I love feeling them and knowing that she is inside of me doing well.
Food Craving: None, just happy I like all food again.
What I miss: Sleeping on my belly and sleeping through the night!
What I am looking forward to: My baby showers and her bedding to come from Pottery Barn!

Symptoms: I am still tired a lot but feeling great!
Well that is my up-date, I will try to do this more offten.
We decided that we needed something to call her since we are not going to name her until she is born so....Petunia will be her name until then.
